Mortar spent most of 2007 hanging around casinos.
We have a good excuse, we swear. “… And suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, which was going about a hundred miles an hour with the top down to Las Vegas.” - Hunter S. Thompson After a couple hours surrounded with fake pirate ships, fake medieval castles and fake cities, the visitor to Las Vegas can be forgiven for feeling like someone dosed their drink. The place is one big, waking hallucination, and trust us, we know from hallucinations. The whole thing begs the question – whatever happened to the real Las Vegas? Mortar's answer is “House Rules,” the Coast Casinos integrated campaign, in which we transport the audience back to a simpler time, when the game was the thing, and true players didn’t have to be told that the phrase “double down” does not mean “drink twice.” Questions? More information? Please don't hesitate to give me a ring-a-ding-ding. Media Contact |
